Toenail Art

When I was 7 months pregnant with Garren I went to get my first pedicure at the beauty school. My excitement was short-lived as they turned me down because I was pregnant (saying that there are pressure points on the foot and they could put me into labor). I was so disappointed so I went to the store and bought some nail polish and stickers. Since that time I've been trying different techniques and patterns for toenails (all the while saving tons of money by doing my nails myself). I've been using a homemade dotting tool but for Christmas I'm going to ask for real dotting tools, brushes, stamping plates, etc. I'll be able to do so much more with these tools! Next summer I'm thinking about starting a little business of painting toenails. I know there won't be great money in it, but I really enjoy painting people's toenails. Oh, and pregnant women will definitely be included!!

I was fortunate enough (blessed would be a more appropriate word as I truly believe finding these deals is a result of paying tithing) to be at Gab's in Morgantown at the right time. I was looking for some school shoes for Garren and found these Nikes for only $3.00. I bought them in every size from 11 to 3 (6 pairs of shoes)! I'm glad Garren likes them because he'll be wearing the same shoe for many, many years!
