Dollar General

This was my first experience couponing at the DG. Was pleasantly surprised to find out that they allow overage to be applied toward your basket. The fixodent was a $.50 money maker (gotta keep some lovely relatives happy since they save their coupons for me) and I needed to buy the candy bars to get the sale into the positive digits. I ended up paying $.15 for everything (including tax).

Sunburst Mirror

I made this sunburst mirror for only $4.00. Similar mirrors sell for upwards of $100 and more. What makes it even better is when I tell disbelieving people it is made from cereral boxes.

I usually get one new coat every year. Most of the time I score my good deal for a coat on "Black Friday," but my patience this year was rewarded. This $240 Worthington coat was on clearance for $30 at JCP. Then I used my $15 off coupon and, voila, $15 pea coat! I can't wait till the weather gets cold so I can wear it. (Okay, not really. I'm so over winter this year!)
